Jan Akanksha supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Let us introduce the Sustainable Development Goals also known as Global Goals. In 2015, countries around the world adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. We have 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), set out a comprehensive list of targets to be achieved by 2030, covering all three dimensions – economic, environmental and social – of sustainable development, i.e. also known as Vision 2030. It is not so far away so we need to act right NOW. If we don’t waste food, water and electricity that will help protect the planet. If people are treated fairly and respect each other that will make big difference too. Making the Sustainable Development Goals work for local communities everywhere.
